MY LATEST CRUSH!!!

MY LATEST CRUSH!!!pppas0082

I am so excited and just cannot keep still. *wink* * wink*

I want to tell you about my latest crush. I am tripping so much over “it”.

And by the way, one of the synonyms for the informal use of the word “crush” as used in the title of this article,  is “passion”.

So about my crush; it’s  the song, “Made a Way” by Travis Greene. Yes!!! That’s my crush.

I stumbled across this song by chance and it’s been in my mouth and on my mind ever since then. Having listened to this masterpiece countless times and still not getting enough of it, a few things caught my attention.

I am greatly encouraged by this song as it says so much to me.

I stand in awe of the One who moves mountains that are standing in my way.  “The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel”. Judges  5:5  KJV

I express my gratitude and show my appreciation to God, for He supplies all that I need and because He is always making ways where I do not even see foot paths. “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert“. Isaiah  43:19 KJV

I praise God because He is a miracle worker and with Him “Nothing shall be impossible”. Luke  1:37 KJV

He caused all kinds of walls and obstruction erected against me to be utterly destroyed and demolished so I am also thanking Him for this knowing clearly that it’s not by anything I have done , but “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not”. Lamentations  3:22 KJV

Also, by telling Him, “Lord I know you have this figured out, you have this in control” what I am really saying is, “I Trust You, Lord and I am totally dependent on You”.  That is the faith that moves God to act because without it we do not please God. “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”. Hebrews 11:6  KJV

Finally, He steps into my world, wraps me in His hands, shuts out the darkness, shines His light and brings comfort  to me; after all He is the God of all comfort. Then His grace picks me up from where I have fallen away in sin.

I feel like this is a whole sermon/service and a lifestyle rolled into one song and it is the reason why I was not surprised when after worship leader, Anthony Brown, ministered this song at First Baptist Church, Glenarden, Maryland, the service came to a close. (To see please click on the Url below but I must warn you though; it’s long, but well worth watching).

Thus, I bring my plea to you today, to make appreciation, gratitude,  praise, reverence, thanksgiving and trust in God your “crush” or your “passion”, if you like.

And He Will Make A Way!
