THE WARSHIP OF WORSHIP
THE WARSHIP OF WORSHIP
Gloom and doom all around I hear……
What to do now? I don’t know, I swear……..
The storm clouds are darkening and quietly grumbling a threat……..
Looks like no relief in sight and I break out in cold sweat………..
How did we get here? How did things slide down so fast and I’m starting to fret…………
There must be a way out! There must be a way, I bet…………..
Yes; they say hope is not lost, maybe;
But how can I tell that to the man who has spent 36 hours at the filling station in Lagos and still has not got any fuel yet?
How can I tell that to the refugees turned back at the borders of Greece who are now all upset?
How can I say that to the relatives of the Lahore victims forced home before their sunset?
But hold it a moment? Just maybe………..maybe……..there is something I can tell them and not sound like a broken record! I can tell them to run…….. yes run, as if their very lives depended on it.
Run into the name that is a strong tower; for shelter, for safety, for security, for peace……….Psalm 61:3; Proverbs 18:10
Really???. ……….. I laugh. …… because it’s just not that simple.
People are being persecuted all over the world right now because of that “name” – Jesus. And yet we must trust Him still………….Job 13:15
It is what we are called to do………….Psalm 62:8
So this is what I say it’s time to launch an offensive with our warship of worship.
Join me and worship Him now and let Him comfort, heal, protect and carry us gently on His shoulders.
Let’s raise our hands in worship and watch our enemies surrender as God gives us victory; He did it for Moses and He will do it again ………….. Exodus 17:11-12
As a warship is equipped for (naval) warfare let’s bring on our worship for (spiritual) warfare.
Let’s worship JESUS today!!!
