DIVINE ACCELERATION

DIVINE ACCELERATION.

Tami was getting ready for her meeting.

She had checked the route the night before. Checked it again that morning. The timing was perfect. She would leave early and arrive unhurried — just the way she liked.

Before stepping out, she paused, as she always did.

“Lord, order my steps today. Protect me. Let everything align.”

It wasn’t a long prayer. Just a quiet whisper of dependence on the ONE she put all her trust on.

She got into her car and eased out of her driveway, joining the steady morning movement within her gated community. Nothing unusual. Nothing dramatic. Just another weekday.

Soft worship music played in the background — the kind that steadies your thoughts before a big day.

Then she saw it.

Brake lights.!

A long line of cars ahead.

“That’s strange,” she murmured. “There are two exit lanes here…why are tbey all queuing behind just the one?”

As she rolled forward slowly, she noticed something curious. Although there were clearly two lanes at the gate, every car had queued behind just one barrier. The second lane was completely empty.

No cones!

No sign!

No visible obstruction!

Just empty.

Without overthinking it, she gently steered into the open lane. She did not even have to honk.  She didn’t have to awkwardly cut in front of another car. Just an easy movement forward.

Even the car that was next in line on the other lane paused as though waiting for something unknown to her.

She simply drove up calmly to the exit and swiped her access card.

The barrier lifted immediately.

And just like that — she was out.

As she joined the cars on the main road, she glanced in her rear view mirror. And she saw cars that had been far ahead of her were now behind her.

She smiled.  “LORD, That was You, wasn’t it?”

It wasn’t dramatic. No angels. No thunder.

Just a quiet rearrangement.

A subtle shift.

In one small, almost ordinary moment, she had moved from behind… to ahead.

And something inside her stirred.

“What if God could do this in bigger things too?”

“What if seasons of waiting could turn in a moment?”

“What if delay abruptly came to an end?”

She felt a sudden joy rise within her.

Not because she had beaten traffic.

But because she sensed a whisper; she felt God telling her:

“I can move you forward without struggle.

” I can restore time without noise.”

” I can position you without conflict.”

“I hear you LORD,” Tami said aloud. “Thank you very much,.”

And she went on her way smiling.

Tami drove on, her heart light and joyful. What had seemed like a simple, ordinary moment revealed a deeper truth: sometimes, God works quietly, unseen but His favor is unmistakable.

Dear friends,  sometimes divine acceleration does not look like speed.

It looks like favour.

It looks like access.

It looks like a door opening when you arrive.

It looks like a subtle rearrangement without upsetting anything.

When God decides it is your turn, He does not need to push others back to move you ahead. He simply makes a way and NOTHING can stand in that way. “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?”  Lamentations 3:37 KJV

When God decides it is your turn, He moves without struggle, without noise, without delay.

Perhaps you have been waiting, watching, praying, and trusting God for a turnaround to better, greater things, dear one, God will make a way. The same God who quietly cleared a way for Tami will do the same for you. Quietly, Suddenly, Easily and the delay will end , the harvest will burst forth, the reward of diligently seeking Him will come.

When God decides it’s your turn,  it is a decision that cannot be altered by anyone.  “Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?” Isaiah 43:13 NIV

Fret not and fear not? “Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.” Psalm 27:14 NLT

God’s move might be a subtle rearrangement, a quiet repositioning or a gentle shift that suddenly propels you forward — ahead of what held you back, ahead of lost time, ahead of expectation, but know that when God moves you, it is DIVINE ACCELERATION!
