CELEBRATE JESUS! !!

CELEBRATE JESUS!!!

I believe we are still in the euphoria of the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus. While this is great, the truth is that it’s consciousness should never leave us. The reality of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is worth celebrating daily.

The crucifixion of Jesus brings about the stark revelation that God loves us beyond compare. Nobody loves us like God does. No parent,  friend, sibling, spouse or child can ever love us the way God loves us. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  John  3:16 KJV

God the Father gave up His only begotten Son,  to be nailed to a tree even when we were still sinners.  “For I was born a sinner — yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.” Psalms 51:5 NLT

Simply put, to be in sin is to be in a relationship with the devil. (And this is why it is important and necessary to renounce sin and confess Jesus as our Lord and personal Saviour as failure to do this means we do not recognise or accept His sacrifice for us on the cross.) So God is hurt seeing us in this relationship with the devil. Here is what He does. He used Jesus, (Holy, without sin) as a sacrificial Lamb. Jesus went in your place and mine. He took all our sin, shame, pain, sickness, disease,  and unworthiness on Himself and together with them was nailed to the cross. When that happened,  we were no longer in that relationship with the devil. And as soon as He cried; “IT IS FINISHED” He had redeemed us with His precious blood. He used His blood to pay for  the penalty and the punishment that was due to us. For this reason, only Jesus was found worthy to take the book and open the seals thereof.

“And they sang a new song with these words:“You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.”          Revelation 5: 9  NLT

If God went as far as giving up His only Son to be slain in order to have us reconciled to Him, would He then let anything sever that relationship again? NO!

I feel empowered, encouraged and lifted knowing that NOTHING can separate me from the love of God.

“No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8: 39 NLT

If this love is not worth celebrating,  then NOTHING is worth celebrating.

COME! CELEBRATE JESUS WITH ME.

HE IS WORTHY!!!
