THE GOD WHO HEARS AND ANSWERS PRAYERS.

And it seems like everyone is running.

It’s heating up on every side,

But the belly of a fish is nowhere to hide.

People are afraid and getting confused,

And some of them have come unglued.

Yes, it has become so very bleak,

But God is strong even when we are weak,

Please do not give up. There is hope for us still.

Jonah had disobeyed God and we might say it was probably right and just that he ended up in the belly of that huge fish.

But then again; “we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 KJV

God had a purpose for Jonah just like He does for you and I. Perhaps it was the case that God needed Jonah to be in that exact place (the belly of the fish) right at that time so that he would be pushed up against the wall and left with no other choice but to cry out.

So Jonah cried out in affliction,  he cried out while he was going through hell,  he cried out from the deep, he cried out in the midst of the seas and he cried out when the floods compassed him about, he cried out when upon the billows he was tossed and turned. In fear that his life was slipping away and coming to an end he cried out still. Even when breath was apparently being snuffed out of him, when his soul fainted within him, Jonah still cried out to the Lord in prayer. (Jonah 2: 2-7)

It was deep, it was dark, it was spooky, it was scary and maybe it was easy to just give up but Jonah did not give up. He cried out to the Lord.

It’s tough out there right now and people are doing the unimaginable. They just want out and some have gone the route of suicide.  This is sad because it solves nothing but rather in its wake leaves grief, pain, trauma and sorrow.

Please do not give up. There is hope for us still.

God answered Jonah and commanded the fish to spit him out. He was saved and delivered.

In our affliction and in our fears,

In our confusion and in our tears,

Let us lift up our voices and cry out to God. If he heard and answered Jonah from the belly of that fish; He will hear and answer us from where ever we are holed up. He is able to deliver us too.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP, STAY STRONG!!

GOD HEARS AND ANSWERS PRAYERS. CRY OUT TO HIM NOW!!!
