DON’T BE GUILTY OF EVIL!

DON’T BE GUILTY OF EVIL

Their fathers had done evil in the sight of the Lord.

And the wrath of the Lord was heavily upon them.

So much so that He delivered them to trouble;

And made them an object of ridicule. 2 Chronicles 29: 6

But what was their wrong? What evil had they done?

“Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.” 2 Chronicles  29:7 KJV

The Nigerian economy has officially been declared to be in a recession.

And there is just no end in sight to the ever increasing prices of goods and services.

It’s easy to grumble and complain about how difficult life has now become.

And blame just about everybody for what has befallen us.

But “the truth” is; God expects us to praise Him in spite of this situation. Psalm 34:1 KJV

So let’s open up the doors of the porch; Enter his gates with thanksgiving. Psalm 100:4 KJV

And put the lamps back on; Thy word is a lamp unto my feet. Psalm 119:105 KJV

Let’s burn incense again; Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; Psalm 141:2  KJV

And let’s again offer burnt offerings unto the God of Israel.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans  12:1 KJV

We need to thank Him, study the word, pray and consecrate ourselves to God and His service more than ever before.

Don’t be guilty !
