My God never fails.

It’s just as simple as that.

It really does not matter what STRATEGY the enemy has in place to try to frustrate my very best efforts.

It is absolutely impossible for “my” God to fail.

(Please note that I keep using the determiner “my”,  because I am in a relationship with Him.)

In spite of this relationship there are moments I feel like I’m running out of time, there is so much to do, very little time, dreams and visions yet to be birthed and fulfilled and so on and so forth that I have to ask myself  “will these things ever come to pass?”

Maybe this is also the case with some of my sister’s out there who are struggling with biological clocks that have almost ground to a halt and the nursery is yet to house even its very first occupant  or the middle-aged ladies still waiting for the right man to come along or could it be maybe you my brother are trying to pass that professional exam or land that dream job or buy that automobile or build that first house or pay the rent that’s coming due soon?

Whatever you are struggling with, think on this; Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus,  before He breathed His last asked his father ……“My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”  Matthew  27:46 KJV

At that time Jesus must have felt abandoned and totally left alone in the world and yet “His father was God”. And Jesus still went through the crucifixion. The devil was probably thinking the redemption plan of God had failed but little did he know that Jesus was going down to “break the gates of brass and rend the bars of iron asunder” and then ascend to heaven in glory.

I wish to encourage you today that no matter how bad it looks now, God has a plan for our lives and it can never fail. That is just not ever going to happen. The way things will play out might not always seem fair or right,  but at the end of the day His name alone will be glorified and we will be victorious.

Whatever the enemy is doing  to try and get you off course and distracted,  God will eventually  “frustrate the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; He will turn wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;”  Isaiah 44:25  KJV. Their “so-called” wise plans will end up making them look very foolish indeed.

That is not all, their well-laid out schemes will never see the light of day because “He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.” Job 5:12 KJV

Rather than let their plots succeed, God will arise and show Himself strong on our behalf.  “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!” Numbers  23:23 KJV

That dream or that vision, that desire of your heart is yet for an appointed time and it shall speak and not lie; but you should already know that if you are in a relationship with God. (He can be “your” God too.) When you spend time with Him, in prayer, praise, worship and studying His word, He tells you things and deep secrets too. So next time you think it is not working out, remember that “All things will work together for your good” because you are in a relationship with Him and He is a faithful partner. He always makes good on His promises.

Yes!! That’s “our” God alright.
