PRAISE YOUR WAY TO VICTORY

King Jehoshaphat,  the fourth king of Judah did that which was right in the sight of the Lord and the Lord was with him.

2 Chronicles 17:3-6 

Jehoshaphat reigned for twenty and five years;

Judah relaxed and prospered; no tears or fears;

But suddenly the enemies planned to wage war;

And Moab, Ammon and mount Seir came to roar;

Then Jehoshaphat with all of Judah ran to the Lord,

Asking for help so they would not perish by the sword!  2 Chronicles 20:3-13

God to their rescue came and spoke through Jehaziel the Levite, saying,

“Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitudes;

for the battle is not yours but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15 KJV

This word was more than enough for Jehoshaphat and he together with the people of Judah,

IMMEDIATELY began to praise and worship the Lord already!!!

King Jehoshaphat did not appoint an army of soldiers,

No!!! But rather he appointed a host of singers!!!

They sang unto the Lord and praised the beauty of holiness.

And guess what happened. ………

“And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.” 2 Chronicles  20:22 KJV 

The victory over the enemy was so resounding it took them three days to gather up the spoil.

The praise and worship of the Lord, God of hosts began even before the people of Judah got to the battle field.

I charge you today, don’t wait for your enemies to start roaring,

Lift up your voice in praise and worship and COME!! LET US ADORE HIM.
