THE BLESSING OF GOD

The rains are fast upon us already and everyone is getting their umbrella ready.

But before you hide under the “protective” covering of that brolly,  perhaps you should think twice. (Just kidding!)

Just this once, I plead, get a good drenching from the rain and consider it a blessing indeed.(NOT LITERALLY please!) A sign that your heavens are open and God is pouring down a blessing on you. Hallelujah!!!

Showers of blessing,

From the ancient of days,

Will stop you from stressing,

In so many ways.

He can bless with health,

He can bless with wealth ,

He can bless to become a mother,

And bless one with a significant other.

His blessing,  it maketh rich,

With a substitute, do not think to make a switch,

Because, His blessing, it addeth no sorrow, Proverbs 10:22

He has you covered for the morrow.

There is a blessing for obedience, Deuteronomy 28:2

And yet if you do not well; a curse for disobedience. Deuteronomy 28:15

A faithful man shall abound with blessings:

The Glory of the Lord he will be expressing

But he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. Proverbs  28:20

His shame and disgrace will show him up as one not decent.

When the Lord is with you,  His blessing will be upon all that is yours. Genesis 39:5

When God loves you, He will turn a curse into a blessing  for you. Deuteronomy 23:5 

The Godly are showered with blessings;  while the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions. Proverbs  10:6 

And; wait for this…….; there is even a special blessing for “Praise”(Judah) – Deuteronomy 33:7 

Yes!!! That’s right. When you make a habit of praising  God, He will always strengthen you and help you against your enemies.

David understood this absolutely and he made praising God his priority.

And it pleased God to bless the house of David for ever. 2 Samuel 7:29 

Let us cultivate the habit of giving praise to GOD and be sure to be partakers of His blessing always.
