INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW BEGINNINGS

INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW BEGINNINGS

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you..”  Psalm 32:8

Hallelujah !!! Glory to our God for another beautiful year of grace. The promise of God for us is that He will teach us the direction to take and instruct us in the way we should go this new year. He will show us how to live. He will guide and counsel. He will protect and shield us. He will provide for and advise us, and with His loving eyes He will watch over us.

GOD WILL LEAD YOU.

God made us a promise to lead us affirmatively in every uncertainty. The word of God in the  book of Isaiah 42:16; says “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.”

We cannot go through life and walk in the fullness of what God has planned for each season of our lives, being afraid that we will miss the way or depending on our own wisdom.

YOU ARE GOD’S RESPONSIBILITY.

God has promised to make His infinite wisdom available to us. He has charged Himself with the full responsibility to take over the management of our lives if we would turn to Him in faith and obey His instructions. True wisdom is knowing what God wants from us at each new phase of life or of our spiritual assignments and knowing His purpose for us. We need to be in tune with God so that He can accomplish His purpose in us and through us.

BE OPEN TO GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS.
The One who leads the blind along unfamiliar paths and ways unknown to them is stretching out His hand to us to lead us into the new He has ahead of us. So do not make it difficult or be stubborn when God takes you where you have not been before. Do not make Him have to pull you. Just go along with Him in the new way He wants to lead you.
TRUST GOD MORE.
God’s unfailing and steadfast love surrounds those who trust in Him amd His mercies will encompass them. The Lord will show kindness to those who are His. Those who obey Him and whose hearts are pure will rejoice and be glad. Psalm 32:10-11; says, “Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in Him. Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!”
God is constantly encouraging you to trust Him in the dark. God’s promise is sure in Isaiah 45:2-3; He has promised to go before you and make the crooked places straight: He will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: and He will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that He, the Lord, is the One who called you by your names.
BE DESPERATE TO HEAR FROM GOD DAILY
I desperately want to hear God with more clarity this new season, and I know that God is always trying to speak to us and instruct us. Each of us must be willing to learn the language of God and His method of communicating with us so that He can teach us His ways.
God’s purpose is continually unfolding in new dimensions. He reveals His instructions in stages. As we obey, He keeps showing us the next steps. Hence, the need for us to be sensitive to His voice. God speaks in diverse ways, therefore we must be able to discern and recognize His voice whenever He speaks.
CONCLUSION
Beloved, learn to listen to God’s voice in everything you do. Do not try to figure things out all by yourself, lean not on your own understanding and intelligence or rely on your own insight. Don’t play smart games with God’s instructions. Think about what God wants with every step you take throughout this year and beyond.
REFLECTION
I encourage you to be sensitive in your Spirit; mind your dealings and be attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Be careful how you work and transact in all your relationships. You can no longer do business as usual. Watch out for unusual instructions followed with confirmation, and be quick to obey them.
EMPHASIS
Keep your eyes fixed on God. Lift your eyes and see Him beyond your imaginations this new year and new season. Vacate the driver’s seat and allow God to take the wheels.
